Ella began working with NEI in December 2024. She graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with degrees in Environmental Science and Native American Studies. She has worked throughout the West conducting field studies and conservation work in California, Colorado, and New Mexico. For NEI, she has worked on sand fence construction, native wetland planting, invasive removal, seed collection, and seed processing. Ella is deeply passionate about food sovereignty, healing ourselves to heal the land, fishing, and really good trees.
