Ella Feick

Restoration Technician, Biologist

Ella began working with NEI in December 2024. She has recently been working with the restoration field crew at the Waldul Dune ecosystem, building sand fences and working on landscape maintenance. She graduated Magna cum laude from Cal Poly Humboldt with a B.S. in Science and Humanities concentrating in Environmental Science & Management and Native American Studies. In summer 2024, she worked as an environmental educator for the Philmont Scout Ranch Conservation Department. She led 21-day backpacking trips through the New Mexico High Country. The conservation focus of these trips were on fuel reduction, Beaver Dam Analogs, and trail building.
